Giving Opportunities
Yahrzeit – It is traditional to make a donation in memory of one’s loved one on the anniversary of their passing.
Yizkor – This memorial service is founded on a vital principle of Jewish life, one that motivates and animates the kaddish recitation. It is traditional to make a contribution in memory of loved ones.
Mi sheberach – A mi sheberach is a prayer or blessing for an individual or group, most often recited in synagogue when the torah is open. One can also honor those in need of healing by making a contribution in their name.
Hebrew & Jewish Studies Program – This education program introduces young children to Jewish history and traditions and helps prepare them for bat and bar mitzvot.
Building Fund – We hope to one day build our synagogue on the Kona Coast. We welcome your contributions to our building fund.
Rabbi Fund – Kona Beth Shalom welcomes visiting rabbis and cantors to conduct services, Shabbatons and workshops, and we welcome donations to subsidize their presence at various times throughout the year.
